Do you enjoy reading a good fictional story? Do you find yourself particularly drawn to crime mysteries? You know a good ol’ “who dun it”. Well, if you answered yes to these questions, you’ll want to read my books.

Since I was a little girl I’ve loved to follow true-crime stories and fictional crime mysteries. TRU TV (formerly known as Court TV) was always at the top of my “favorites” list. Also, I’ve been a faithful follower of all the Law & Order programs from their very first introduction to television. I particularly like the Law & Order series because they are usually “loosely” based on a true story. The writers seem to get as close as they can to what really happened while avoiding a possible law-suit at the same time.

All Rise is my first published book. It is a fictional crime mystery. However, I’ve already begun writing my next crime novel that is inspired by and loosely based on a true story.

Even though I’m an author of fiction, I try to incorporate important real-life issues into each story. I’d like my readers to come away with more than just a “good read”. I hope they’ll also learn something realistic as well as significant about the hurting people who live all around them or maybe even about themselves. Consequently, as the reader attempts to solve the mystery, he might stumble upon some area of hurt in his own life. Hopefully, the reader will come away with applicable insight into a meaningful principle that could be applied to some wounded area in his or her own soul.

I sincerely hope you’ll read and enjoy my first novel. Also, I’d love to hear from you with any comments you’d like to share about the book.
